Welcome. My name is Matthew Nicholson. Originally from Australia, I have been designing, planting, building, developing and maintaining a wide range of gardens for over 20 years.

My lifelong passion for art and for nature combine to create stunning gardens and exceptional outdoor aesthetic living experiences.

I founded, ran, expanded and eventually sold an award-winning garden design company in London.
I love plants and specialize in innovative planting schemes with style and flair, in collaboration with a client's unique preferences and needs.
I am a qualified permaculturist and have a regenerative, organic sensibility, with an artists eye for form and beauty.

I have designed and built a wide range of private and commercial gardens - including but not limited to vertical gardens, edible gardens, flagstone patios, decks, raised beds, enclosed gardens, orchards, food forests, courtyards, ferneries, ponds, meadows, rock gardens, native gardens, herbaceous borders, green roofs, recreational areas, irrigation systems and ecosystem restoration projects.
